John Shankle has been active in the construction business for over 25 years. He has owned and / or operated business ventures for over Fifteen years from managing a successful Demolition and Asbestos company to founding and building A-1 Demolition, Inc.
( California License number 763614 ) in Southern California. John started out as a Demolition and Asbestos Estimator going to General Contractor’s seeking business, and build a multi-million dollar business with over 20 plus employees. In fact, the West Coast was so successful that a larger, Well - Know and well - respected company became interested and bought him out in 2000.
John stated a new company in 2002 called Accelerated Enterprises, Inc. (California License # 816971). John made a deal with The Home Depot in Northern California to remove all the Asbestos and Demo eight Super K-Mart so The Home Depot could build new stores in there place. The deal was worth 8.5 million dollar. The company was sold before the work was completed by John.
In 2004 John stated a company in Texas called A-1 Remediation and Demolition, Inc. it has a Louisiana License number 50077. John still owned 100% of the stock of the Corporation.

Background
Twenty five years of intense commercial and Environmental industry experience after graduating with a degree in Civil Engineering Technology with emphasis in Demolition Project’s, Environmental Remediation, Asbestos Abatement and Rouge Grading.
Project Management
Responsible for all aspects of project administration and construction, including estimating, field supervision, bidding and scheduling. Utilizing computer estimating and scheduling software to maximize efficiency in managing my project.
Estimating
Evaluate the particular needs of projects, execute a detailed take-off and budget and obtain subcontractor bids for projects.
Field Supervision
Routinely visit the project sites to evaluate the progress, problem areas, scheduling conflicts and safety issues. Regular meetings with clients throughout the project to discuss these areas in order to keep them informed of the status, thereby limiting unwelcome “surprises†for those associated with the project.
Bidding
Assemble a bid for project’s scope, preparing a bid form, evaluating all incoming bids and compiling and form-up a bid for each project.
Scheduling
Compile a schedule for the completion of the project. Evaluate and up-date the schedule as required.
